Your post brought back the memories I had of losing both my brother, Sam, in 1983 and his namesake, my nephew, Sam, in 2006. Both were under 21. I know the pain you must be feeling now, the utterly displaced feelings, but I want you to know this...As bad as it is right now, it WILL get better. Not even so you would notice, but one day you will just look up and say to yourself, I can bear it today. My heart goes out to you and you family. May God be with you in this time of deep sorrow and walk with you and bear you up until you can walk on your own again.

I am so sorry for your loss. When I lost my daughter, the MISS Foundation was a great support to me. Their address is www.missfoundation.org. They help provide comfort and support to parents grieving children of all ages. Perhaps they can comfort you, too.

There seems to be a lot of sad news reaching me lately and this has added to it. I am so, so sorry. There's nothing for me to say that hasn't been said yet. My heartfelt sympathy to you and your family. I lost my mom very suddenly two years ago and since then there have been five more deaths in my family; but the death of a child is one of, if not, the worst. I pray that God watches over you and gives you the strength to get through this with the least amount of pain possible.

Tonight I will be attending a wake for my cousin's husband and the funeral tomorrow. As I pray for him and my cousin I will pray for you, too. God bless.
