morning everyone. we are getting ready to go to bury my son today. I appreciate everyones thoughts and prayers. I am staying a lot more sane than I thought I would be, so far. This afternoon will be the hardest part. But we decided to have a celebration of his life instead of a very sad and somber service, We are playing his favorite music, saturday morning cartoons songs,and celtic music, in the backgroound during the visitation, He was always acting silly and making someone laugh. He liked to go to rennaisaince festivals and make swords, He made one that he worked on for yrs making it from small pieces of metal welded together, we had it placed with him like a warrior, He looked handsome, but I wished he had not been clean shaven by the funeral director, he had a scruffy looking beard but not full and he shaved him clean, he doesn't look like my son.
My 10 yr old dgs looked at him and said that he was a plastic mannequin, and Bob was gonna come in the door and say"Gotcha, I just wanted to have a family reuinion" Last night we were all at my dd's house, and there were about 30 people there. We were all standing in a circle with our arms around each other and telling silly stories about Bob things that he did through the yrs. I had better get ready to go. I just wanted to get on here and let ya'll know how I was doing. Thanks for listening.
