easy cupcake wrapper template

There have been so many posts about cupcake wrappers.Yes, there are some beautiful ones out there, but at least $1 each? Quite by accident, I found the perfect template to make your own. I am sure that all of us are thinking of things non cake related that can help. I purchased a coffee from Starbucks & it had a wrapper around the cup to prevent burns.It was the perfect shape & size for large cupcakes. I took it home & took a double doiley & cut out the shape, wrapped it around a cupcake, secured it with double sided scrapbooking tape (that I got from the dollar store) & voilla! You can of course, as suggested in other posts also use scrapbooking paper & punch designs in them.Lots of wrappers at a third of the cost & I can choose my own colours & designs. Hope this inspires some of you to give it a try.

Could you scan your pattern and put it in the sketches and templates? TIA

Darn if that isn't all the excuse I need to go and get me a Starbucks!!! Thanks bunches.
