Hi everyone!!

I have to delivery 4 dozen cupcake tomorrow afternoon and its been rainy and humid for a few days. I'm worried that the icing will get messed up durring delivery... Can I freeze the iced cuppies and then transport?
Has anyone done this?

I have frozen decorated cupcakes in an air tight container and then taken them with me. I don't sell. I only bake for family.

I recently did a wedding cake with 150 cupcakes - I froze the cupcakes, but only until I need to pipe the frosting on them - hope this helps.

That's what most large chain grocery stores do. They have cupcakes frozen, with frosting and all, then pull them out to sell.

Should not be a problem.
