I have never had this problem but this cake gave us a hard time. We iced this on Friday evening and by Saturday morning It was covered with these tiny cracks. icon_eek.gif We live in Louisiana and have high humidity, does this have anything to do with it and is there a cure?

Thanks in advance for any help icon_biggrin.gif

I have had this problem and they all told me that it is the board you use under the cake. Its not strong enough. I have not tried it yet but they say use 1/2 in foam board or masonite board. Or its you bc is too dry.

Thank you... the board was the furthest thing from our minds! It makes sense, we moved it to take the pic and the board was not all that stiff.

thank you, thank you! thumbs_up.gif
