You know I used this tutorial to help out a fellow decorator put hibiscus flowers on cupcakes for a party this summer -- they turned out great and she learned how to pipe them. Thanks again for posting this tutorial!! icon_biggrin.gif

I have been saving this thread in my favorites on my computer for over a year. I've been wanting to try the hibiscus so bad but never have time to play, I'm just always too busy to play with buttercream. Well tonight I got to play. I did a bday cake for my Grandma who loves hibiscus. So go look at my pics CenterpieceSweets icon_smile.gif I thank you for the tutorial! I wouldn't have done it without it! I used tip 3 or 4 to do the bud. Sorry I'm just now repling. My computer broke down again. icon_sad.gif Next time I do them I'm going to use a larger rose nail. I think that would look gorgeous.
