My best advice to you is to not expect miracles from your first batch. They puff up like a mallowmar, then shrink back down pretty flat. I thought I had done something wrong at first, because they didn't retain their shape.
They are very soft when done, so allow them to sit on the pan or parchment for 2 minutes before removing, otherwise they'll break apart.
When they have cooled for a few minutes, but are still warm, they are a total Yum with a glass of cold milk, so keep a glass handy.
