I was asked to do a graduation cake for a woman's daughter who loves to draw. I'd love to do something extraordinary, but my mind is blank. icon_cry.gif Perhaps something with pencils, sketch paper, ??? Has anyone done something like this in the past or any ideas? I would greatly appreciate any and all advice. Thanks much!!! icon_smile.gif

What type of drawings does she do?

If she was into still life drawings you could make an edible cake arrangement of fruits, then have the drawing of the fruits there as well as the pencils and paints.

if you could turn this into a cake (3-D hand and pencils)

I bet she'd flip.

You could do a cake that looks a giant sketch book and put edible pencils and paint and other art supplies all over and in the top left or right corner make a graduation cap and put it there and on the other corner but a stand up year of the year she graduated in!

Good Luck
