I need the clips that come with the stand-up bear pan, does anyone know where I can buy them online, clips only.

Not sure what they are called but if you have any of these, they work really well and they are a lot easier to put on than the wilton clips.

Hope that helps!

If you want the Wilton ones, they sell them on their website. I don't know if they sell internationally but you should be able to find out somewhere on the site. Here is the link:

Your welcome! Glad to hear you can get the office clips there. Wilton get enough of my money too, LOL!! Besided I have both and the office clips work better for me.

icon_surprised.gif ahhhhhhh! my office (a cancer research-funding agency) receives hundreds of applications each year that are bound up with those clips: over the past 20 years or so we've amassed thousands of them and they threaten to overun us on a daily basis...anybody want them?

i never thought of using binder clips (aka bulldog clips) for the bear mold (great idea, btw)...in fact, i think i ended up buying a little bag of the wilton 8-shaped clips to use in addition to the ones that come with the bear mold as i am over-cautious.

aunt-judy-I hate to admit it but my hubby was the one who thought to use them. Guess he gets a brownie point for that, LOL!! thumbs_up.gif
I got my first 3-d pan off eBay and it didn't have any clips. After getting my second 3-d pan with clips, I almost threw them out after trying to get them on the pan.

smileyface: indeed, i do recall that those clips that come with the pan are a major pain in the fingers (especially for those of us with tender tendons and joints)...i think the spare set i bought were somewhat less tight, but the binder clips make so much more sense...i'll be sure to give them a try in the years to come as my niece and nephew approach bear-cake-eating age. thumbs_up.gif

Your welcome for the clip tip (LOL), happy to pass it on. Yeah, my new Wilton clips were so tight one flipped my fingernail backwards as I was trying to put it on. After a little talking tapedshut.gif to it, they went back in the box and out came my office clips. I haven't tried them since.

The smaller clips are worst than the big ones. I opened them up some with a pair of pliers and they are easier now.

I have the decorator pro and the thumb lever broke and I called Wilton and they sent me a bunch of them for free...they didn't charge me for shipping. Call them and see if they will send you some clips free.

I also line the outside of these stand-up pans with a double folded piece of foil wrap before I put the clips on. I cannot stand getting leaks in the oven and it is an extra precaution.
