Can you share what do you use. I want to give it a try but I have no idea what to use to make the hair strands....

You can use a clay extruder/gun.

i got my clay extruder from michaels.....it works great...you need to use a little muscle but it definately gives you hair if that is what you want!!! it comes with like 12 or so different interchangeable plates.....so you be able to use for lots of things!!!!!!!

If it's buttercream, use the hair/grass tip.

If it's fondant, I use the green clay extruder that I got from Hobby Lobby, I think it's made by Makins Clay, I think it was around $15-$20 before coupon.
