Edna, THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH for showing me a much better way to make calla lilies. The way I was taught, the petal would never stick to the stamen and would always slide down the wire...I refused to make them again after trying and trying. Now, I can't wait to give it a try again, and this time I know they'll come out perfectly.

Oh, please do more videos, you are a very, very good teacher. I only wish I could be in your Wilton classes.

OMG.. I am overwhelmed with the response..Well for those who ask if I am a model...no I am not.. I am 40 years old..not sure about a 40 year old model.. .
I dont look nervous but I am not smiling a lot..And I love to smile..but then again I am a teacher so it helps..I do hate cameras..

I am thinking on doing a few more tutorials for you guys..so stick around cause I want to answer a lot of questions people have in here of very basic stuff..
People in CC are so wonderful...I love to teach what I know cause it was hard for me to get all this information when I was learning. So if I have it ...why not share it..


By the way..my nails grow so fast that I have no choice..I deal with them...Lots of people ask me how can I work with long nails..well I have no idea.. But as you see the amount of cakes I do, I have no problems with them..

I might be slow..doing more tutorials, but I promise more..I do weddings for a living..so I have to do this on my off time..

Thanks, Edna. Calla lillies were my wedding flowers, from the invitations to my bouquet, to my cake (NOT made by me!) I have been wanting to make them for so long, but they looked so hard to do. Now that I have seen you do it, I am definitely going to give them a try. Thanks, again!

YAY! Now I have a visual to put with the explanation you'd given me in the past! I never could find those pesky cone cups at Wally World (Walmart) but now know where I need to go .

Also, I bought some calla cutters, but like your way SOOOO much better - especially after seeing your tutorial - that I think I just might chuck 'em!

I love it! The video was very easy to understand, nicely put together and, oh yeah, LOVE the nails! I have nails and have often thought that I needed to cut them in order to make cakes, but you've shown me the light...THEY'RE STAYING! THANK YOU!!!!

Last note...You are gorgeous and your accent is lovely! I would definitely be weary of those pervs on Youtube.
