Can I Use A Cake Drum For The Base Of This Cake???
Decorating By CakePhun Updated 4 Jun 2008 , 9:08pm by CakePhun
I am doing a wedding cake square 4-tier ... 6",8",10",12". What would you use for the base? Would a covered cake drum hold it or should I make my own out of like ply wood and cover it or something like that? Any help would be great!
TIA
Here is a link to some pictures. They are sturdy cake circles to use for the base of cakes, about 1/2" thick. They are usually gold or silver foil covered.
