Ok, hope you have a good lemon cake recipe, but here is aother one that I found.

For the frosting, you can add a bit of lemon extract for your normal bc.

Here is the link for our fellow cc members how to make a dog video, but when you make the dog, keep a picture of the cocker spaniel in front of you. That will give an idea on how to make it look like it.

And here is a link for you, on how to do the choc covered stawberries.

http://www.wikihow.com/Make-Chocolate-Dipped-Strawberries

I would make the dog at least a week ahead, and then make the cake two days ahead. The day before the collection, I would first prepare the straberries and leave it in the fridge ( I haven't done these before, but if I'm doing one of those, that's how I would do ) and then torte the cake fill it frost it.

Just before the colletion, put the strawberries around the cake and tell the customer to keep it in the fridge.

The Strawberries should be done the same day. If you make them the day ahead they may turn to mush, I would test it first.

Do the strawberries the day of. They will get all sweaty and yukky, and the choc will fall off if you do them too soon.
