Has anyone ever tried cake flour instead of AP for cookies? I have 2 or 3 boxes of CF I need to use but not into cakes at the moment. Thanks.

FYI, In doing further research I read in order to keep cookies from spreading to use cake flour & that CF makes a more delicate cookies.

The cake flour works great. The recipe calls for 6 cups flour which I can never get more than 5 cups of AP flour mixed in. I used about 5-1/2 cups of cake flour. I added choc chips & M&M's & had to flatten the cookie because the dough will not spread. I thought it was very good. HTH!
