Ladies- you must have fools for husbands. My hubby is happily chomping cakes and cuppies, and "testing" my icing. After the last pregnancy 18 years ago, he misses the "snack attacks habit" that 5 pregnancies in 5 years gets you. He says he hasn't eaten better since I was prego!

Ahhhhh, but the bathroom scale has been moved to the kitchen "snack" area. icon_smile.gif

Well my husband has gotten ot the point that if I don't mention something about what I saw on CC he will ask me "Well whats new on the cake site today?" That's bad when I talk about it so much my husband has to know what is going on. I can't help it though I have to have my CC fix everyday. I know I will see something new I have to try.Long Live CC addicts !!!!!!!

Oh i tell everyone, CC stands for Cake Cult. HA HA HA HA HA. Cake Central is our front. We eat drink breath and live CAKE....after all there was a reason why the phrase "Let them eat cake" came about!!! ha ha ah hah a



Anyways....the two worst addictions combined cake decorating and the internet. Now all we have to do is throw in Alchohol in the mix and we are doomed!!!!! Lord help us!!!!

I KNOW! LOL Everytime friends or family come in my kitchen while I'm working (middle of the morning or day) I feel I have to explain why I have a bottle of vodka sitting there in the middle of all my cake stuff! Hee! Hee! They're like...sure you decorate with it....

Can't leave or enter the house without announcing that I have to check my e-mail, of course in reality I'm checking my C-mail (Cake central mail - any notifications in my e-mail of replies to posts)! lol icon_wink.gif

I even joined the ranks of the cake throwdown this month! I'm amongst one of 10 "contestants/members" involved in the May Cake Central Cake Throwdown.
......Ooohhhh, I've just been paid one of the highest compliments by DH. Speaking of addictions, my DH just said my cake (said TD cake) is like crack. Even my poor son is aware of it and my husband, well he's just happy because he knows he gets to eat all my leftovers. I swear when the site is down, I don't know what to do with myself. LOL

My hubby asks what's the latest on certain interesting stories that I've shared with him ("THis lady is a hoot!" thread is his current favorite!). When I mention leahs, OhMyGoodies, Kory(AK), Brandi(bakes), and of course Melvira, he knows who you all are!! I don't even have to supplement the names with "leahs ... a lady on CC!" anymore! Heck, you guys would be surprised at the number of *my* posts that are a result of hubby saying, "here..... tell them this .....!!!" My caking has gotten so busy lately that my kids have to make sure I'm presentable before delivering cakes...I'm sure that the neighbors heard, "Mom, you can't leave, you have powered sugar on your butt!" yelled from our second floor by my 12 year old as I was loading cakes into my van....

I have 3 lovely shop staff who think I have lost it! I got wireless internet in the shop so that I could have my laptop on the counter next to me as I decorate.
I swear I am on here at least 10 mins out of every hour in a day!
I am a CC addict and I love it!
