Ok, I have been having a lot of people wanting large quantities of cookies and decorated cakes. I always bake one day and decorate the next. All is fine and dandy except the problem is that I always seem to end up with a huge mess afterward. It takes me all day to clean up even if I clean as I go. Does anyone have any suggestions on making the whole process go a little more smoothly. All comments are welcome.

Oh, I know what you mean. I make such a mess icon_redface.gif I can't bake when my DH is home because he can't stand it icon_cry.gif He's going to retire next year so guess I will have to send him someplace else while I bake. icon_lol.gif

Like you, I "try" to clean as I go, but I still have stuff scattered from one end of the kitchen to the other. Plus most of my decorating stuff is in my office/sewing/craft/stamping room (which I cleaned yesterday & took me ALL day) icon_redface.gif So by the time I drag all that out I really have a mess.

I'll keep watching this post hopeing for helpful hints.
