I have done a 8, 6, 4".... and drove it about 40 miles on my lap...Well...my husband was driving LOL..

I have also done a 10, 8, 6, 4. That one I just did at the place where the cake needed to be, so no transporting...

I'm sure yours would hold up just fine!

Your favorite kind would work just fine!!! I always use MMF, but any fondant would work great!
