I'm talking about the stand that James Rosselle used in one of his cakes on the Food Network Cake Challenge. I can't remember if it was the Sweet 16 or the Surprise Engagement where his cakes were tilted (like on tilted boards)?

I've tried looking online but I can't find a picture of it icon_cry.gif

(It has to do with this thread: http://www.cakecentral.com/cake-decorating-ftopict-586803-.html )

Thanks

I know the cake you are talking about, it is the Surprise Engagement Competition...regarding the stand, well I just have NO IDEA! Congrats on your upcoming wedding and good luck finding the stand.

Wish I could help....

Are you talking about using styrofoam wedges in between the tiers? I saw the show you are talking about but can't remember the cake stand. icon_redface.gif

Thanks guys!

mjs4492 - I just can't remember how he assembled the engagement cake - did he use styrofoam wedges? That's funny that there's no pic of it online!

I'm not sure if that's how he did it.

I made a cake in Feb using the styrofoam wedges in between tiers (4-tiered Mardi Gras themed cake in my photos). Take a look when you have time and I'll try and help you figure it out! icon_smile.gif
