OK, I am wanting to dive into the world of edible image lollipops. I have tried to make them with about 33% turn out rate. I am using a plain hard candy receipe with KopyKake frosting sheets. I have tried letting the candy cool abit then put in on and put the second layer of candy on top but then a good share melt a way. Any ideas or tips?

Oh yes, I do them all the time. Look at my pic ( I hope I do this right, but if not I have one posted)

First, slightly grease your mold with a spray release. Swirl it around with a pastry brush so you will not get pot-holes in the final product.

Lay the frosting sheet face down in the mold

Pour your syrup over that, add your stick and allow to cool.

When it is cool (not cold) pull up and out. I have found that if I allow it to get to cold, sometimes the candy breaks.

Good Luck, HTH
