OK... gonna try the WASC cake here for the first time, and want YOUR recommendation on the best filling and/ or syrup soak (if you use it). Lots of experience, just not with WASC.

What is your favorite/ most requested / most raved about filling?

My most popular is cookies and cream. I beat softened cream cheese with powdered sugar, fold in whipped cream and then broken oreos. Probably next would be raspberry preserves and chocolate fudge (melt 2 cups choc. chips with a can sweetened condensed milk, let cool then spread). The chocolate fudge and caramel is yummy too!

But, anything is great with that cake!

Welllllll....that's gonna be a little rough, because I don't measure! My best guess would be, for a 12 and 9 inch cake I would use whip about 1 1/2 cups whipping cream stiff and then put it in another bowl. Then I'd beat 8 ounces of softened cream cheese with 2 cups of powdered sugar. It will be fairly thick. Fold in the whipped cream. Then I break up a whole bag of Oreos into about 4 pieces each and fold that in.

ya know....I think I use 2 packages of cream cheese, not one for what I listed in my previous post. It's for a lot a filling, for a 12 and 9. So, half that for one cake.
I'll measure when I make it this week! icon_smile.gif I like adding the cream cheese so it. It gives it more texture.

For the whipped cream do you mean just regular whipped cream (literally cream you whip>) or like something like dream whip?  This sounds so YUM!
