AKA_cupcakeshoppe mentions she was able to get 24 cups comfortably on a 14 x 20 board.

Can you tell me what brand those cups are? I have looked eveywhere and can't find them. I have been to Walmart, Sams, Food Lion and Party city (found some paper ones that "might"work but I want plastic). Thanks

Staples carries that size cup online. (I don't think they have them in the stores though, just through the internet)

I found 5oz cups at staples but not 3.5oz also the ones I found are all too V shaped the cup she has has straight sides. I've found cups that are 3.5oz but they also are V shaped and my CC's are pretty straight sided. Would you mind posting the link to the ones you are talking about? Thank You

OP, great idea! I just bought some cups at Smart and Final based on a cupcake bouquet idea from KHalstead. She has pictures of her cupcake bouquet using plastic cups (like yours) in a thread here on CC:
http://cakecentral.com/cake-decorating-ftopict-672414.html

At Smart and Final I bought 2 sizes of plastic cups, 5 oz. (bag of 125 cups) and a 3-1/4 oz (bag of 125 cups), each bag cost about $3-$5. The brand of the smaller cups is: First Street, 3-1/4 oz Plastic Souffle cups, distributed by Amerifoods Trading Col., Los Angeles CA 90051. These small cups are perfect cupcake size and do not require cutting the rims off.

Also, there is another thread that talks about an even simpler/cheaper method of cupcake delivery (although not as attractive as your idea).

Cupcake delivery "system" made of aluminum foil:

I just used this system last week to take cupcakes to the VA hospital where I did my clinicals this term. I use this every chance I get! I'll post a picture as soon as I get the chance to upload it on my computer!

I am making a few kinds of cupcakes for my daughter's baby shower but I was concerned about how to get them to the location in one piece (or at least recognizable! icon_lol.gif ) This is absolutely the key! where were you able to find the plastic nut cups? Your idea will make me look like I know what I'm doing! [first grandchild and first baby shower!] thumbs_up.gif
