I have someone that wants to try a chocolate cake with carmel ribbon? and vanilla filling. I have samples made already so I don't know how I would add that carmel ribbon. Has anyone tried or made a cake like this? Thanks so much for your help!

since you already have the samples amde i would suggest just drizzeling the caramel on the pieces and telling your customer it will taste a bit different when baked. I have never made a cake like this but would think it could be done using the marbleing technique.

Thanks.. maybe that could be part of the filling? If I was baking it what would i use for the caramel? Also I guess I don't see how the caramel would stay in there with out mixing with the batter and baking.
