I spilled black dusting powder onto dry lilac sugarpaste. It looks terrible! I'll have to redo the whole thing!!!! Is there a way to remove it? Anyone? Please?
Since you have to redo it, you can always try a q-tip or cotton ball soaked in save alcohol (like vodka or everclear) and rub over it to see if it will take the color off.
hi, when i make a smudge on a fondant cake, i use the everclear or some type of alcohol like texassugar says to do. i don,t know how much you have spilt. anyway, don,t keep rubbing over the same place with the same part of the towel you will be using. rub a place, put some alcohol on another part of the towel , rub little more, keep on doing this to see if it will come off. please let us know if it did. hope you don,t have to do it over. hope it isn,t a large area for you.
I have had good luck using vodka to clean up after my messes - good luck! Sorry that happened
here's a question for alcohol, does white rum count in the "colorless alcohol" realm? I've used white rum for painting any colours on , and it seems to works well. (not that I've done a whole lot) I'm just curious about the different 'types' and how they work, or don't work.
