I want to make a small area of water coming out of a fire hose. ( i'm going to guess 4 or 5 inches tall by 3 inches wide...) I would really like to make it out of sugar but I am new to doing any sugar work and was wondering a few things.. 1.) how much sugar do you think I would need to use for an item that small..
2.) what temperture do you stop cooking it at? 3.) does anyone have any other ideas that I could use for making water?
Thanks soooooo much!
To answer your questions (even if its too late) how you do not need much for the measurments you are giving. My batch yields about 2 cups of syrup in the end.
If you want it to reach hard candy stage the temp is 300 degrees
I don't have any other suggestions otherwise because of the height. If it was laying flat, I'd say piping gel of jello
