in reference to the 2 cookie pans in oven, I have a question for all you convection oven owners/users. I was GIVIN an almost new (less than a year ole) LG oven with a convection option on the settings. Don't have the owners manual and no idea what or how to use it. I have set the temp for say 350 and the digital reader then says 325. Is that what it should do? I'm guessing it cooks hotter? Whats the best way to use it for baking? Any help would be sooooo appreciatied.
UGH, I just bought the Fridgidare version of this. I don't like it yet. The reason it says a different temp is because you can cook it 25 degrees cooler for the same amount of time, OR 1/3 less time at the correct temp. To get the correct temp you need to type in 25 degrees warmer than you need.
I'm sure if you go to the LG website you can print a manual. I have an LG refridgerator and printed mine a few months ago
I'm glad to see this topic. Last week we got a new Whirlpool with convention option. There are instructions, but I'd like to hear other people's comments, hints, etc. about baking with it.
