Is there such a recipe? Or can i add those type of sprinkles to my regular white cake?

Just use your white cake recipe, but fold in some sprinkles (jimmies) at the end. I've used 2 Tablespoons of jimmies, but experiment to see how sprinkled you want your cake to look. They've got to be the jimmies though (long sprinkles) so they melt while the cake bakes. Otherwise you'll end up with crunchy bits in your cake if you use hard sprinkles.

THe bride wanted specific colors so I got mine from my local cake supply shop. She gets them from CK or Country Kitchen in BIG bags (not those little jars you find in the grocery)and she got me a bag of green and a bag of pink, so I had PLENTY to do an entire wedding cake.

I use candy "sequins" to make my confetti cake. I mix about a 1/4 cup (maybe more) per batch of white cake batter. I get them in a 5-pound carton from my wholesale supplier.

My family like lots of confetti, so I use 1/4 cup per cake 'mix'.
