I got a call today from a relative who's boss, the president of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, wants me to put together some samples of cookies that she could have at staff and board meetings, member events, etc. She told me the boss's idea was to have them say CPA and the persons' names. I think she's looking for something cute, though beyond just a plain cookie with the writing on it. Their logo is BORING! (hey, they're CPAs, right-oh! That's not nice) Anyway....I'm hoping you can help me out with some ideas. I think she's looking for a few options within different price ranges, but she said her boss is all about presentation. Please help!

What about making the cookies to match the season....
Include the employees name & the firm and be creative about creating
spring, summer, fall, halloween, thankgicving, christmas, 4th of uly etc... cookies that the employees could enoy repeatedly and look forward to seeing what the next theme coming up will be....

How about a big money symbol or bag of money, iced in green? You could add the names using food color decorating pens.

Love the pencil idea! No wonder kneadacookie is who I want to be when I grow up! (Though I'm guessing I'm already older than her by a good number of years!)

You could aways go with an adding machine/calculator cookie. It would give you a few more creative options. Their names could be on the "screen".

oh! You guys rule! Those are terrific ideas! Kneadacookie, I'm on the east side-Macomb Township.

I'll definately do both the pencil and the calculator with the name on the screen. Love em' both. Anyone else got any ideas. I'd like to offer her about 4 or 5 options at varying levels of design complexity.

A ledger was the only thing I could think of before I posted this thread. I don't really even know what one looks like other than that it's a book. I guess I'll have to google it. and I like the yellow pad idea, too. Thanks guys!

My Dad was an accountant...boring is so true!

Pencil, computer, calculator, IRS tax form, check(made out to the company, pen, pen and pencil protector (remember those!), desk, office chair, books (google the latest accountant books for titles, a green bankers lamp, an envelope addressed to their company....the possibilties are endless!

Thanks for your ideas everybody! If the lady decides to use me for her events, I'll be sure to incorporate some more of your ideas. I thougth you might like to see how they turned out. I also did dollar signs, but I didn't love the way they looked so I didn't snap a pic of those. The pencils are my favorite.

I just checked back to see if you posted any pics. I love both designs. They are lucky employees. I happen to be an accountant myself (we are not ALL boring). My employer would never put that much thought into what was served at company meetings. You did a great job.
