O h I wish I had seen this post 2 months ago when my first bow turned into a glob of RI and drooping loops, what a mess my first disaster was icon_cry.gif and no time to make a new one before customer pick up icon_cry.gif I was able to make one for a wedding later that month with candy melts and it was geat since it was white, but for a colored bow this is it! I will make one tomorrow to practice. Thank you icon_biggrin.gif

cakequeen, I want to thank you for sharing your tutorial with us all.

I did a wedding cake this weekend and I used your method and OMG!!
it was a "breeze" to just pop those toothpicks into the top of the cake.....
The only thing I should have done was the bottom layer against the cake
I should have laid a bit more flat.........but you live and learn.
Now I know for next time.

Will post picture later.

I have tried this method too but with wire. It was wonderful!! I tried the original way and my bow never held up. It just drooped!! Made me so mad!!! This way is much easier and looks much cleaner!!
