Can't wait to try this! I detest having to mix up royal icing just to "glue" my bow together. I don't use a lot of RI decorations anyway.

andysprite, the gumpaste dries in a day but I like to give it 2. The more gumpaste, the faster it dries.. so if you did 75 % gumpaste, and rolled it thin, it would be ready in a few hours.

suzylynn, that is the reason that I use this method, I never have any royal icing hanging around, I tried the candy melt way and I was a loser at that. I tried putting them in a mound of fondant, that was stupid, so when I saw this method, I fell in love!

I too am a bow loser, but I think this will solve my problem.
