Wow, those are great! If you don't mind me asking, how much do you charge for these?
Thx!
All of the cupcakes are GREAT!! I have saved so many of them for future inspiration. I hope this thread keeps growing. If my fundraser cupcakes are worthy, I'll post them after the weekend. This a tough neighborhood (lol) to hang out in.
tonedna . . . love your tropical theme . . . but can't tell exactly what you've got goin' on there . . . can you share your instructions . . . soooo cute . . . looks like it might be those plastic wine glasses with something in the bottom (filling) and then a cup cake and then the whipped cream (icing) . . . do you have a patent pending on the concept???
(p.s. for those of you who don't get the "inside joke" regarding the patent pending . . . you may want to check this thread out . . . http://forum.cakecentral.com/cake-decorating-ftopict-582719-cupcake.html+jar)
I do have a patent pending!!! Dont steal!! ...
But I will share to my friends!
The cupcake was bake in a cupcake liner,
the liner taken of, cupcake cut in half
The cup is a disposable wine cup..I Use a filling made with bettercream mix with coco lopez, drained pineaple chunks, and coconut.
I put first the filling, then the cake then filling and finish with marshmallow buttercream. Top it with a cherry, a drink stirrer and and umbrella!
ta da!..
People love them!

OOOHHH!!! sounds as good as it looks . . . thanx for sharing
I'm pretty sure I used tip #2D. I just started in the center and swirled to the outer edge. Leaves were piped on using #352 (I think). I'm not at home right now, so I'm relying on my memory (scary).
I have a question for all you who have fondant circles on top of the cupcakes. Did you put the circles on when the cupcakes were warm or did you put it on later with frosting or something?

I put mine on after they cooled. Piped a little buttercream on the cupcake, cut out a circle of fondant and laid it right on top..
I did these in Feburary and they were a big hit:
WOW! Best cupcake roses Ive ever seen!

has anyone tried this baking pan? It makes cupcakes baked like icecream cones. I may have to buy it.

Hi darandon - I have the pan put out by Williams Sonoma. Got it on clearance at a store for $4.99. It is really a great pan, other than you need something to keep them standing. They don't stand that easy. I used melted chocolate on the bottoms.
These are mine...and I was surprised that they turned out this nicely, I wasn't so sure how they would look- first time ever cupcakes
I want to play, but I'm computer challenged. I can't post my pics. I have several fun cupcakes on my photo page if you want to take the time to look! Thanks in advance if you do!
cute cupcakes everyone!

I use tip #2D for the rose effect on mine and work from the center out. If I just want a large swirl, I use 1M and work from the outside in.
