Luster Dust & Chocolate Help

I was wanting to make a cross out of a white choc mold. Are you able to "paint" the cross (choc.)with luster dust??? Dry or mixed with an extract? Thank you!!

I've dusted finished chocolate molds with luster dust and it works out fine.

Don't, however, mix the dust with any liquid. It will mess up your chocolate. Rule number one in chocolate making is that liquid is chocolate's biggest enemy.

I wouldn't do the liquid because it will separate and look weird because of the oil base to the chocolate. But dusting it works great!
