Melvira.. Dont mean to burst you bubble ( pop) but thats the one and only reg cake supple store in Indy ! Unless your talking about Gfs and so on other wise its Mrs b,s for cakes ! There is 1 other But lets just say its spooky and I for 1 will never go back there again !
Melvira, you all bring that van down and we'll have a great girls' day!! I'll take you to Flower Factory, too. You'll REALLY love that store!
Ms. B may be the only cake supply store in town but it's SO worth the trip! She just expanded into a second store ... knocked a door in the wall and started bursting thru the seams! It's a great store!!
fiddle, I pop into that other one when I need just one box or some dowel rods. "Spooky" is a good word for it! 
But while I was in there last week, I noticed this sign store next door. I went in and let's just say next week I'll be sending you pics of my LETTERED van!!

Oh man Indy... my sister does that stuff... she can make a magnetized sign that you can slap on the side of your vehicle when you want to, or take it off when you dont. Or she can make the permanent kind that stick on all the time!
She's making me some signs for my new van! I can't wait!
It's in Greenwood, on 31. A wholesale place that has aisles and aisles of wedding stuff, TONS of candles, candle holders, all kinds of decorative items. 1/3 of the store is silk flowers. I send ALL of my brides there!
Pricing examples: The 8ft silk greenery that you drape in front of tables that sell for $12.99-$15.99 at Michaels? They are $2.99 and $3.99 at Flower Factory. Rose-shaped floating candles that are $1.49 at Micheals? They are 29 cents at flower factory. www.flowerfactory.com will give you the location address and you can map it.
Plan on spending at least 3 hours in there your first visit!! NOT KIDDING!!
Now that looks and sounds like my kind of place ! Guess I have to plan another trip to Indy when I can spend the afternoon ! I hope I can get there before Melvira goes and buys the place out ! Thanks Indy !

Ditto! It will totally change the way you bake! I LOVES me some parchement paper. I baked a few dozen cookies today and it just makes it so much easier and the cookies cook way better than without it!!
[I wish I had better stores around here. I'm going to plan a trip to Indy (scheduled when you have one of those monstrous "Come taste everything I make" shows) and you're going to have to outline all the cool stores I need to go to! I'm going to bring my van (empty) and as much money as one can scrape together!! (I'll sleep in the van to save $$ for more cake stuff! Hehehe)
I'll be in the passenger seat keeping Melvira company and bring the road trip food! NO way you're going to go visit Debi w/o me!
Oh, fine... you can have one small overnight bag! 
I used the parchement yesterday wow ,it worked great and the cookies lifted off so easy you are right never do it the hard way again thanks everyone.
