I had some cake scraps left over from a weekend of baking, so I decided to try my hand at cake balls.
I used Cookieman's recipe. Half my scraps were chocolate so I halved the amount of cocoa, and I didn't have any almonds or amaretto so I subbed Andes mint chocolate chips (yummy) and rum instead.
They are so rich I could only eat half of one, but I took some to my sister's and the rest to work and everyone went CRAZY over them.
Thanks everyone for all the great ideas, I'll never throw away my scraps again!
