I LOVE CAKE CENTRAL!
I like the leafe border. I just bought a leaf cutter from pampered chef (came in a package with other cutters)
This is one of my favorite borders to get a frilly girl look.

That is SUCH an adorable, frilly cake! LOVE the border - something so simple made into something so precious
I love ruffle borders. I especially like color contrasted ruffle borders. And with a ruffle, the more you add the more intricate and beautiful it becomes.
Thank you for starting this! I can't wait to use some of the borders. I am new at decorating so it will be fun to try the different borders.
I loved this post the first time around too... I'm so glad you started it again
Here are some that I love:

So many different designs for borders to pick from .. woohoo!! This thread will be so much help I love all of them. Thank you so much

This was so great! I was up late last night trying to find a new border and thought there had been a topic at one point. Did a search and BAM! there it was! Thanks so much!
BCJean and Klykat
Thank you so much! I had so much fun with this cake!
BCJean I had been dying to try your border and finally got the chance. Thanks for sharing your awesome talent.
Great thread! I'm always looking for new border ideas. And having very little experience, I'm looking for easy borders. Someone mentioned looking for a more masculine border. I used a plain round tip to do this one for DH's birthday cake. He INSISTS on Duncan Hines canned chocolate frosting, which is VERY soft, so design choices are limited.
I did this cake Sunday with cream cheese frosting, again very soft. I can't do reverse shells, either, so I just did some S-scrolls. I noticed that I when I finished each one, the end stood straight up. I think I could take advantage of this "flaw" and, using some bright colors, come up with a very whimsical border.
Both of these cakes are in the gallery.
Thank you everyone for sharing. Many of these borders (like the frilly border on the poodle cake and the stringwork) are absolutely AMAZING!
Does anybody know where I could find a flame border??? I was thinking of layering my icing in the bag with orange, yellow and red and try to do something that resembles a flame going up the side of a cake? Any suggestions would be great!!! Thanks~Dedra~
dedra_w_1980 here is a flame border I like It's done by BrandeR.

Dedra, sorry I don't have any pix to show but stripe your bag w/yellow, orange &/or red icing and use a large leaf tip like maybe #70. Just pull up lines of icing and it will look really good.
