If you just want too try them for size etc. Hobby Lobby is not real expensive and they have probably 6 different sizes that are 50 for 1.99.

I get the Premium Clear Bags. I used to buy my bags from Kitchen Collectables until I found Paper Mart. The polypropylene bags are supposed to be "better" (according to PM) but they are twice the price and I'm just a hobbyist so the extra expense really isn't worth it to me. But if you had asked me when I first got my bags, I wouldn't have believed there were any better bags. They are waaay nicer than the Wilton cookie bags. They have a "crisp" feel and are much clearer. I cut the top with pinking shears and tie with ribbon -- gives a very professional look.

KC prices:
"4 x 9.5"" Cellophane Bags - 100 per pkg." $19.90
"5 x 11"" Cello Bags - 100 per pkg." - $19.90
"6 x 13.5"" Cello Bags - 100 per pkg." - $22.00

Papermart
75702 4 x 9 1/2 - 100 = $8.28
75704 5 x 11 1/2 - 100 = $9.99
75707 6 x 13 1/2 - 100 = $12.10

I've never ordered form this company, but they've been mentioned by several people here.

I just bought bags from www.groovycandies.com about a month ago and bought 5 pkgs of 4.75 X 6.75 100 ct for $4.18 per 100. Best buy I've seen yet. They are $4.18 per 100 no matter how many 100 pkgs you buy. and shipping was only $6.95 so when I buy I make sure I'm getting enough to make the shipping worth while. Something I found out though when first ordering them is that they have larger quanties of 1,000 at a time but it works out that it costs more then when you by them by the hundred. I called them and asked why the price was more and they explained that the bags are hand counted and so they charge more for the lots of 1,000.
Hope this helps. Also they have a varity of sizes. Lynda

I get mine from Hobby Lobby as well- really good price- and then there's not all of that shipping involved. I can run out and get more if I'm ever running low in a pinch! icon_smile.gif
