Michelle Bommarito is scheduled to conduct classes at Heinrich's in Centerline in May. Has anyone ever taken one of her classes before? The classes are basic decorating 2, intro to gumpaste, airbrush demo and gumpaste roses. I'm not particularly interested in any of these topics, but thought I would sign up for one of the classes (gumpaste roses) if the experience is worth it.

I didn't know that. I've seen her on challenges on the Food Network. Is the info posted online somewhere?

Gumpaste roses sounds like one I'd be interested in too.

I picked up a flyer at Heinrich's, but I don't see that they have a website. If you're interested, let me know and I can bring the flier w/ me to work tomorrow and email it to you.

I took the marzipan veggies garden cake class from her (the cake from Martha Stewarts mag). I am pretty sure it was before she was on any of the cake challenges, but she was really nice and helpful. She went around and watched people as they worked and gave them advice and encouragement! She is very personable and I even got to show her my portfolio which was cool! I would highly recommend taking a class from her. I might even have to head down and take the gumpaste rose class!

Thanks for the info, HeatherMari. Based on that, I think I'll register for the class. Maybe I'll see you there.

Jill
