I made one last month and serving it was a bit messy. I'm wondering what the best way to serve one would be. My son's 1st bday party is this weekend and I'm hoping to find an easier way to slice it.

(I apologize if this has been discussed before, but I tried finding a thread and came up empty.)

If its the new giant cupcake pan ? I cut it in 1/2 from top to bottom (up & down ) and laid each piece flat and then sliced it that way ! Worked well for me ! HTH!

I just made one for this past Monday, and I cut through just the "top" first. I cut the slices in pie shapes. Then with the bottom I also cut them into pie shape slices. I will say that I used the Wilton heating core for the bottom part of the cupcake because i heard it took a while to bake. It worked great plus i had a hollowed out center that i was able to fill with icing. It was yummy.
