Hi everyone!

I am new to Cake Central and I am very excited about getting some tips and new ideas from all of you.

I am from Barrie, ON, Canada and have basically taught myself about cake decorating but I am looking to sign up for a few classes in the fall.

If I may ask, where is Barrie, ON? I swear I've seen signs pointing that way before. I live in Michigan and my dh and I go to Benmiller, Goderich and Stratford, ON, every year for the Stratford Festival. Am I remembering right? If so, you aren't really that far from me!!

Welcome! I live about 45 minutes from you in Nottawa (just outside of Collingwood). A girlfriend of mine just took the Wilton classes at Michael's in Barrie and loved them.

Everyone is so friendly and helpful, but you probably have figured that out by now. Most days (actually several times a day) I feel like I am sitting down with a group of friends and discussing our passion over a cup of tea. Welcome again and enjoy!
