Ok, now that I'm a cookie cutter addict, how do some of you store/organize your cookie cutters?

I use rolling, 6-8 drawer, plastic storage carts found at the big office supply stores. I like them because they are desgned for paper and files, so the drawers are shallow and the cutters can lay flat for easy access. I have each drawer labeled by theme. I'm probably over-organized, but at last count, I was over 200. YIKES! icon_smile.gif

Seeing that I am just getting started I store my cutters in a small bin. I plan to purchase the COW like Sugarplum Studio in the near future because I just ordered more cutters and people are continually requesting cookies for cutters I don't currently have. I like your organization setup Sugarplum Studio.

I have a LARGE rubbermaid tub of cutters. Then I have a shelf with all my deco stuff. I am strictly doing this for kiddos, teachers and family. I am not a professional decorator nor do I play one on tv! icon_smile.gif I'd love to get soemthing like Sugarplum's but need to find more space--maybe whenthe kiddos are finished with sippy cups and stuff like that! icon_wink.gif

I store mine in those plastic shoe boxes on two really big shelving units. I just label the container.

Well, I had mine in one little sterlite recloseable container until the other day when I placed a pretty big order for more cookie cutters! So, I keep my scrapbook paper in the 12x12 3-drawer sterlite storage containers that I get from Walmart. They are just the right depth! So, my plan is to get a couple more of those just for my cookie cutters and then label the drawers by category.

This is exactly what I do! One of my units has shallow drawers on top and a couple of deep drawers on the bottom where I keep my extra large, copper cutters that don't really have a category. In another large drawer, I keep 4 different size sets of letter and number cutters.

I also use these for my copper cutters.
I use plastic shoe box containers for my many plastic cutters and have them labeled by season or holiday occasion. I have storage cabinets in my basement where I keep these containers.

I also use those containers you get at Sam's that have pretzels in them for the Holidays. I used two of them nice fat round ones for my new Christmas cutters alone this year.

I am a cookie cutter addict icon_redface.gif
