I have a very small cake supply business, I want to find local bakers since the only other place to buy cake supplies is michaels.... I keep thinking I should get one of those white window lettering things to put on my car.... I have a saturn so I can't get a magnet for the car. Does anyone think that is worth the money and defacement of my car? How much does something like that cost?
I was wondering about that today too. I was wondering about having one of those window clings made. That way to can remove it. I have no idea who makes them or how much they would cost.
Contact a local sign company in your area if you have one. I had mine made for around 80 dollars. It is vinyl and adheres very well. It has company name&address&phone&picture of cake. The only thing is to take them off you will need a razor blade. I hope that helps some.
I went to office max and got the sticky letters for the window!!
I was going to put them in my car but my business front door needed more.
I paid like 15 dollars for like 3 sets.
I pasted a cake circle on the door and spaced my name around the circle and in the center I put a bit of duct tape, leveled it and added my phone number.
Too Cool for words! lol
I saved myself a bundle and I got the size I needed too.
I got the letters in the back wall, they are indoor and outdoor letters. and I got the 3" I could've gotten larger.
Maybe another Office Max run is in order? lol
Make sure you check with your insurance company first before you do this if your vehicle is not a business vehicle. It may change your insurance coverage. And if you don't tell them and you get into an accident they may not cover it b/c of the business advertising (or if you are making deliveries or doing pick up of materials)
Here is a recent post about window decals: http://forum.cakecentral.com/cake-decorating-ftopict-574390-stickers.html
