I want to decorate some wedding cookies but i want the icing to be firm enough not to damage when packaged but not hard as rolled fondant or royal icing any recommendations.???

I tried the Toba icing and i am still able to see the cookie through the icing. While i like the icing it is not working to runny. What am I doing wrong??

Thanks
Rochelle

You can add more powered sugar to "thicken-up" Toba's glaze icing.

You can also add "white food coloring" to your icing. This makes the icing more opaque (harder to see through) and has the added advantage of "brightening" the other colors.

Good luck!
