This is a great thread. I can't tear myself away!!!!! icon_lol.gif My name comes from my dad. My middle name is Kaye and he always called me kazoot. I just turned 44 and my age has not bothered me at all. I met my hubby in high school as a sophmore and have not looked back. LOL We have been married 26 years and have two daughters, 25 and 21. I also have a granddaughter, 4 (gasp) icon_surprised.gif I have loved the stories on here. Thanks for sharing.

Guess I forgot the particulars.... icon_redface.gif sorry!

Here's the rest of my info about me:
I'm 38 and DH and I met on the Internet and have been together for 9 years and we have four (yes I'm crazy) children, Michael 6, Sara 5 (tomorrow), Bryan 2 (3 in Feb) and Emma our little fire cracker 4th of July blessing at 18 months. We were both married before but wouldn't change a thing for our lives now except DH is slow on work but that comes with being a consultant. Ugh! But I'm here as a result of finally deciding to take those cake classes I always wanted to take and I stumbled on CC and I'm hooked!!! Glad to be a part of this group you guys are all great!!!

Thanks!

Mine is the name of my baking business. I do everything in my own home and sell my cakes. Brandi is my name and baking is my game! LOL! So, Brandi's Bakery is what I came up with. I know, not very imaginative, but I like it. icon_smile.gif

Mine is probably pretty obvious, it stand for the huge amount of practice and the even greater amount of patience that goes into the wonderful art of cake decorating!!

I'm in the "Turning 30 this year" club too icon_cry.gificon_cry.gificon_cry.gificon_cry.gif

Mine is pretty self explanatory in that it's my business name. How I came up with it is because of the meaning of Couture (I also do a bit of sewing) and Cake... Just was the only name I could come up with that "sang" and for market positioning in this area put me into a higher end.

My middle name is Michael...yes I'm a girl!!!! In Greece, they distinguish cousins, who are often named after the same grandparents, by adding their father's name. For example: I would be Irene (of) Michael Smith. Wher my first cousin would be Irene (of) Thomas Smith....etc.....there are actually 5 Irene's in my family of first cousins!

ANYWAY....back to the subject...My husband's business is called Adventure...hence the "ADVEN". We've had this name since we got married 10 years ago and bought our first computer. You can believe that the 68 is the year of my birth, but it's not. Our best man tacked that on to our name but the explanation is icon_evil.gif only for mature audiences. icon_biggrin.gif ...maybe I'll put it in the naughty section!

My screen name is pronounced just like it looks, Bob - Wonder - Buns. BWB for short. icon_wink.gif First, to clarify any misconception, I am a GIRL. And not a girl named Bob! icon_confused.gif I am also married to a boy, who is also NOT named Bob. icon_rolleyes.gif

My screen name came about out of sheer frustration. On many websites I have a much different name (that of a spice to be exact...) However, on some websites that particular name is taken. One day, on one website I typed in that name. Taken. So was every other name under Heaven!! icon_sad.gif Sooo, out of sheer frustration, I typed in "Bobwonderbuns" and shouted at the computer "I'll be THAT one isn't taken!" And sure enough... icon_rolleyes.gif Now, how the name stuck I'll never know... icon_wink.gif

That's really funny, cause I always had in the back of my mind how arrogant someone must be to have a username like yours!!! icon_biggrin.gif Said icon_lol.gifpurely in jest!

This thread is great. My husband came up with our name the first time he signed us up for an internet account somewhere, and we use it for everything to keep it simple. I thought I was getting the award for "how do you pronounce THAT??", because noone, including me can. I liked it initially because it was simple for me to remember. Now I hate it because it's impossible to tell it to someone easily (M as in Michael, I, D as in Diane, I, A as in . . . . )

First two letters of each of our names: husband Michael, I'm Diane, kids are Alyssa, Jordan and Jerrod.

I can't believe all the babies on this site (younguns, I mean). I just turned 46. Started decorating at 13 when my aunt sent me to Wilton classes (I was so embarrassed at the time, but God bless her soul now because I still love it).

Tincanbaby comes from collecting tin cans and NASCAR diecast cars. I am also a 56 year old baby. I never intend to grow old. I have been married for 31 yrs and have 3 kids, 3 grandkids. I came to this site to look up wedding cake pictures for a co-worker. I have since taken the Wilton Course I and scheduled to take Course II next week.

My name might sound like I love myself but its not like that!!!
I lost about 15 kilos a while ago and someone I hadn't seen in a while saw me and said aren't u a yummy mummy now (I have 2 kids - Hannah is 3 and Lachlan is 2). I thought it was cute. I added the fire in the middle because every site already had just yummymummy taken and I am a firefighter - hence yummyfiremummy.

I am 25, have been married for 5 years and we have 2 gorgeous kids as above!

I have been decorating cakes for 2 years but I don't get to do a lot.
