Oh my word! What a blessing. I just plugged in the numbers for the cake I am working on right now. I was a little under in my pricing. But only by $20. But now I won't ever have to be under again! thumbs_up.gificon_biggrin.gif

Thanks so much for uploading this!

I'm new to cake decorating and I havent started getting a lot of orders so I have no idea of how to use this thing. I'm good at computers and I know Excel, but I was just gonna charge for my time basically. I was thinking like $15.00 for a 9 inch round cake with minimal designs.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!! to Dawn and Donna for putting these together! I have worked with spreadsheets in our farming business and it takes a ton of time and frustration sometimes to get these things to work out. You have obviously spent many, many, many hours on this and did a superb job!!!!!! Thanks again! Now I will look really professional when I give quotes to my clients!!! thumbs_up.gifthumbs_up.gifthumbs_up.gifthumbs_up.gifthumbs_up.gif

I hope you do get your pricing in line. So many under price their work, which is bad for the rest of us who want to get paid for working. People at times will come to my shop and say, "why are your cakes so high?" I can get my neighbor to make it for less.

Matrix is pretty cool. Wish I had it years earlier!

That is the most amazing thing I have ever seen, and I'm an accountant by trade!! It would have taken me MONTHS to create this, and only after far too many hours on the computer instead of in the kitchen. Words can't express how grateful I am that I found not only this forum/website, but this thread as well. At least now I know how much I have been making (or not making) on my cakes.

Making this cake soon.
I think If my son was home from collage he could help...I'm computer savy but not with this program.

I figured it out WOHOOOO
Ok question on the deposit for rental items. If the items are returned do you refund the $ or is that ment to be kept for wear and tear?
If like me things are just borrowed and no issue of return you know it will come back do you skip this part?
