Dear Friend,
My roommate says all stupid people are "job security" 911 dispatcher.
You can not ,I repeat CANNOT help them ,there are beyond all control, and I agree,If we could only LOCK THEM UP, the world would be a safer place.
So transport yourself here to CC and we will help you overcome your STUPID PEOPLE problem, someone always has someone dummer than ours, LOL

Good Luck and keep venting,

I can totally understand your frustration with stupidity - I've had it myself for a long time. My husband can attest to that. That's the reason I kick myself so hard when I have my "moments". I keep thinking about the absolutely stupid question I asked on the board a few weeks ago (regarding "ream"ing together some ingredients) - I still can't believe how long it took me to realize that was a typo in the recipe I was reading and that I actually posted the question on the forum!!

But I have worked with people who should not have been allowed to leave their houses because of the level of stupidity they had reached. Not easy to keep from jumping ugly with them - especially since it's a constant thing and not once in a while.

well here's my 2 cents....stupid is a temporary shortsightedness that makes us do the occasional "doh!"
stoopid is incurable by any means and no matter how hard you try stoopid just don't get it.
Now dumb is a hard one to figger out. Dumb is..... ignorance of a better way of doing things. When you educate a "dumb" person they are no longer "dumb" but when trying to educate a STOOPID person, all hope is lost and it's kinda like mud wrestling with pigs.........you both get dirty and the pig likes it.

ge978 that's why so many people wear slip on shoes. I worked at a bank in customer service and the level of stupidity amazed me. I was amazed at the number of people who don't keep a check register and couldn't figure out how they could be overdrawn.........duh

As Ron White says...."You Can't Fix Stupid"

I have a story for ya'll, and I know it isn't story time, but this will make you laugh.

My husband is a police officer and used to work in the county jail before he went to police academy. Whenever the inmates receive mail, the officers are required to open it and read it to make sure they are not receiving any contraband or working on conspiracies against the officers. Well my husband opened a letter to an inmate from his girlfriend, and it went like this...

"I miss you so much darlin. Last night I sprayed your pillow so I could sniff your COLON as I falled asleep." icon_eek.gif

That ought to make you feel better! icon_lol.gif

I'm sure there are very many levels of stupidity......even the ones who think they are so smart have someone rolling their eyes at them behind their back, and so on and so on.... icon_rolleyes.gif It's all a matter of relativity....

To the original poster....
what annoyed you so much?...This thread feels "empty" without knowing the details..

kre8iv_gal,

Where can I get one of those?

Digress --

I can't pass judgement -- since nearing age 50, my son has threatened to put me on the Dee-DeeDee bus (Mind of Mencia) a few times.

Yes please do share!

Tmriga, I am over laughing my butt off at your last post. When my husband came home from his last underway a month ago he said I needed to see that Mind of Mencia "No Strings Attached" DVD! That Dee DeeDee was the first time I had heard that. Now my hubby and I say that to each other every time we do something stupid!

or drive, or go to the grocery store, or......
