I just bought a sport ball pan to make some Christmas ornaments for a bridal shower cake. Yes I know Christmas is over but this is an ornament shower for this girl and they want ornament cakes. My question is how many people does a sport ball pan feed. It really isn't that big and i need to feed 24 people. How many ornaments do you think I should bake?

This pan takes 2 1/2 c. of batter like the 6 inch round so it serves 12 party and 12 wedding. In this case I would make 2.
You could also make a few extra ornament cupcakes or cake balls and decorate them like ornaments. Just my opinion.

Be sure to take into account that cutting an odd shaped cake yields weird sized and shaped pieces. I'd err on the safe side and say 10 servings per ball.
