I think PM means to instant message someone. I haven't tried it myself but I think that's what it means. Try it & you'll find out

PM means to private message someone. If you look on the upper left hand side of of the screen undre your account, you will see private messages. This is where you will have any private messages waiting for you. Now if someone says to private message (pm) me, if you look towards the bottom of that person's post you will see several links- one might be Profile, but the other one will say Private Message. Click on it and the screen will change to where you type in your message- like an email and you can then send it to that person. Their reply will go to your private message area that I mentioned in the beginning of this and there will actually be a flashing symbol notifying you when you have a new private a message. It's a combination of instant message and email when you think about it.
