Farewell/moving Away Cake Idea!

Hello,
I need some ideas and pictures for farewell/moving away. I need something special maybe a 3-d cake idea. I don't want to do just a simple sheet cake . I need ideas thumbs_up.gif help!!!! any help is appreciated. icon_biggrin.gif

You could do a square cake and dress it up with fondant/buttercream to look like a moving box or a crate, or some kind of luggage

You could make a "shipping label" and have that be where your message is.

Also where are they moving to? You might be able to come up with some creative ideas about thier new city/state/town/country.

Cute idea Jackie!

Wilton also did one that they used the horseshoe cake pan and had like a bridge (flat piece, maybe made from colorflow?) going across from one side to the other .. they had one state name on one side and the state they were moving to on the other side.. they put the shape of the states on each side of the horseshoe.. they put a car/truck on the bridge that crossed from one side to the other with it facing the state they were moving to ..

This is probably only fitting if they're moving to another country, but I saw this great cake where they used the 3D sports ball pan and made it into a globe. It looked so good!
