I just made chocolate clay for the first time in the hopes to create some awesome flowers for a chocolate cake I am doing soon. Anybody have tips or suggestions on making flowers out of the clay? I don't want to do roses and that is all I can seem to find instructions for. Any help would be great. Thanks!

Calla lilies are great out of chocolate clay--even brown clay dusted with burgundy luster dust and a gold center. Carnations are pretty, too, if you have a cutter for them. If not, you can free form them by crunching circles of clay together--if that makes sense.

I think the Calla lilies would be pretty but I haven't ever made them before, any suggestions on technique? Thanks!
