Are there edible glow in the dark products? Food coloring or luster dust maybe? My son would love glow in the dark cookies...Any ideas are appreciated!

Thanks!

I highly doubt there's a glow-in-the-dark edible product but I did find some ideas.

Also, you could use white M&M's or something like that and use a black light.

sounds a little out there....

but i was just searching google to see if I could be of help. I found a forum where someone wanted icing that was glow in the dark. They suggested using glow in the dark body paints to mix into the icing...which is available at umm.....adult stores? You know the kind!

I dunno about this...I would want to read the ingredients ect...and I dont know if it would be strong enough to make a cookie glow...but I could see it working within some icing....to be used as decorations to the cookie???

Believe it or not I did some research on it and No not yet... they are working on it... some scientist somewhere. The glow mechanism is actually from a type of bacteria that is unedible. But scientist are looking into how to obtain the same effect with edible glow in the dark.... then again my research was from Halloween last year (wink)

Hmmmm....
The black light idea is a good one. I'll have to see what I can find out. I don't know about the body paint... icon_smile.gif Thanks for the input everyone!
