I'm curious with pricing. This is the first cake I've actually been paid for and I have no idea if I priced it right. Its a 2 layer 8" with BC filling. Fondant accents and sparkles. It was for a friend so I told her $25. What would you have charged? TIA

That is a beautiful cake!! I probably would have charged $40-45 mainly because of the fondant accents. Great jon!!!!

thats what I thought. I told my husband thats about what it would cost but since she was a friend I told her $25. She knows she got a great deal too so I told her it was my "1st customer special." icon_biggrin.gif

That's just so cute! I agree, $35 would have been totally fair, at least in my market. Your friend got a good deal.

I agree with them. I wonder the friends of cake decorators know how lucky they really are. icon_wink.gif
